Zapowiedź Doha:
Federer and Nadal headline Doha
Federer and Nadal headline Doha The first week of the 2010 tennis season boasts participation of top players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at the Australian Open warm-up event in Doha.
The Qatar Exxon Mobil Open will kick off on Monday and will feature not only Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, but also World Tour Championship winner Nikolay Davydenko. Other notable players include the resurgent Mikhail Youzhny from Russia and veteran wildcard Younes El Aynaoui of Morocco.
The odds-on favorites to make the final are Nadal and Federer, but the two men have not played well at the same tournament since Madrid last spring. The draw is top-heavy with Davydenko and Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic landing in Federer’s half.
The only real danger lurking in Nadal’s half is Youzhny, though he can certainly be dangerous to the Mallorcan. Youzhny has just the sort of hard-hitting baseline game that can derail Nadal.
Prediction – With Federer likely to save his energy for the upcoming Australian Open, another loss to Nikolay Davydenko would not be a huge surprise. Davydenko over Nadal in the final.

Come on Andy

Rain disrupted play on the outer courts during the opening day of the Brisbane International, causing the three scheduled men’s main-draw singles matches to be postponed until Monday.
In a strong line-up Monday at the ATP World Tour 250 tennis tournament, top seed Andy Roddick and defending champion Radek Stepanek feature on Pat Rafter Arena, with a clash between Frenchman Richard Gasquet and Finn Jarkko Nieminen beginning proceedings on the main court at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday’s three postponed matches – Jeremy Chardy vs. Alejandro Falla, Juan Ignacio Chela vs. Thomaz Bellucci and Marc Gicquel vs. Philipp Petzschner – also feature in an action packed order of play on Monday.

U mnie też często się zawiesza. Jest 4/4 w 3 secie, bardzo równo idą obaj, bez przełamań. Walcz Ołówek!

Zapowiedź Brisbane:
2010 ATP season begins in Brisbane
2010 ATP season begins in Brisbane The new ATP season kicks off on Sunday in Brisbane, where Andy Roddick is the No. 1 seed. Radek Stepanek, Gael Monfils, and Tomas Berdych will also be looking to begin their 2010 campaigns with a title.
The offseason will officially end on Sunday afternoon when the first ball is struck at the 2010 Brisbane International. Tournaments will also be taking place in Doha and Chennai, but 32 players will be kicking off their Australian Open preparation in the Brisbane main draw.
With Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in Doha, Andy Roddick headlines the field as the No. 1 seed. The seventh-ranked American missed most of the fall swing with a knee injury, but he says he is well-rested and ready to go for 2010. Roddick will open his Brisbane campaign against Australian Peter Luczak, with the winner set to take on either Mischa Zverev or wild card Carsten Ball.
Roddick appears to be in a relatively soft top half of the draw. His nearest seeded player is No. 6 Jurgen Melzer, but Melzer could face Richard Gasquet in the second round with a spot in the quarterfinals at stake. Tomas Berdych and Thomaz Bellucci are the seeds in quarter two of the draw, which also includes Marcos Baghdatis.
Defending champion Radek Stepanek, who beat Fernando Verdasco in last year's title match, will open against Australian wild card John Millman. Stepanek could face another wild card, Bernard Tomic, in the second round.
Gael Monfils, Sam Querrey, and Jeremy Chardy will be looking to deny Stepanek a return trip to the Brisbane final. Querrey has to go up against fellow American James Blake in what looks like the toughest of the 16 first-round matches. Monfils is scheduled for what could be a taxing opener against Taylor Dent, who reached the third round of the 2009 U.S. Open in his comeback from serious back surgery.

Zapowiedź Chennai:
Cilic returns to Chennai to defend 2009 title
The Chennai Open begins on Monday as part of a trio of tournaments that will kick off the 2010 ATP World Tour season. 2009 champion Marin Cilic, back to defend his title, is seeded second behind Robin Soderling.
Robin Soderling and Marin Cilic headline the 2010 Chennai Open as the ATP World Tour season gets underway this week in Chennai, Brisbane, and Doha.
Soderling, ranked a career-high eighth in the world, is the No. 1 seed. He ended his 2009 campaign in the semifinals in the World Tour Finals and opened this year with quarterfinal and semifinal victories over Stanislas Wawrinka and Roger Federer at the Capitala World Tennis Championship.
The Swede will face Robby Ginepri in the Chennai first round before a potential quarterfinal against No. 5 seed Dudi Sela. Also seeded in the top half of the draw are No. 3 Wawrinka and No. 7 Michael Berrer.
Joining Cilic in the bottom half of the draw is 2009 Chennai runner-up and India's No. 1 player Somdev Devvarman. Up first for Devvarman is Rainer Schuettler, whom Devvarman was scheduled to play in last year's semifinals before the veteran German withdrew due to injury. Other contenders in Devvarman's quarter No. 4 Janko Tipsarevic, No. 8 Rajeev Ram, and wild card Carlos Moya.
Cilic begins his title defense against Igor Kunitsyn in what appears to be a relatively soft bottom quarter of the draw. The 6'6'' Croat, ranked 14th in the world, is facing potential early-week matchups with Marcel Granollers in the second round and No. 6 seed Simon Greul in the quarters.
