Boris Becker i Sandy Meyer-Woelden rozeszli siê

Zaledwie trzy miesi±ce trwa³o szczê¶cie - by³y znakomity niemiecki tenisista Boris Becker oraz Sandy Meyer- Woelden postanowili siê rozej¶æ.
- Postanowili¶my w miniony weekend rozstaæ siê - powiedzia³ 40-letni Becker nie podaj±c powodu.

Ojciec Sandy, której imiê brzmi Alessandra, Axel Meyer-Woelden by³ doradc± tenisisty od 1993 r. do swojej ¶mierci w 1997 roku. Z przelotnej mi³o¶ci z rosyjsk± fotomodelk± Angel± Jermakow± urodzi³a siê w 2000 roku Anna.

Re: Boris Becker

A oto i odpowiedz na to pytanie.

Becker announces shock engagement

Tennis champion Boris Becker startled viewers of a Saturday night game show when he said he would marry former girlfriend, Dutch model Lilly Kerssenberg, in June.

Some 9.7 million viewers in Germany watched the unexpected announcement on the show "You Bet ..?" in which both Becker, 41, and Kerssenberg, 32, were guests.

Later in the programme, Becker had to jump through a burning heart of fire, his antics upstaging other guests, including Hollywood star Jennifer Anniston.

Becker and Kerssenberg had split up at the end of 2007 after a roughly two-year long relationship and last year Becker announced his engagement to glamorous jewellery designer Sandy Meyer-Woelden after seeing her for only a few months.

"Last summer I went a bit off track but she took me back. Now I don't want to let her go," Becker said on the show. The programme's presenter, Thomas Gottschalk, looked astonished and said: "No, not again?"

German papers and society magazines lap up stories on the red-haired champion's love life, not least as many of his girlfriends, including Kerssenberg, bear a striking resemblance to his ex-wife Barbara with whom he has two sons.

"Will Boris keep his word this time?" was the headline on the front page of top-selling Sunday paper Bild am Sonntag, with a picture of the couple kissing.

The wedding is to be in exclusive resort of St. Moritz, Switzerland.

"Boom boom" Becker, who earned the nickname for the thud of his powerful serve, won over the crowd at Wimbledon's centre court in 1985 when he won the tournament at 17.

He stacked up six grand slam titles but in recent years, his life has been a roller coaster. He lost much of his fortune, had a messy divorce and became the butt of jokes for his flings.

He fathered a child with a Russian model after a brief sexual encounter in the laundry cupboard of a Japanese restaurant in London after his final Wimbledon match while his wife was pregnant.

In 2002, he was found guilty of tax evasion, but not jailed.

Becker o romansach Woodsa: Jak to ogarnia³?

- Spotka³o mnie to dekadê temu, mia³em podobne do¶wiadczenia - wspomina Becker.

- Zaskoczy³a mnie natomiast skala zdrad Woodsa.

Re: Boris Becker

Wimbledon 2010: Boris Becker finally feels at home in SW19 - 25 years after shock victory

Boris Becker introduces me to the family pet ‘Sushi’, a goldfish that one of his sons won at a fairground, and which is now swimming around a bowl in the middle of the table, and the German continues grazing from a plate of chocolate digestive biscuits, which his wife, the Dutch model Lilly Kerssenberg, had laid out. And then we step out of the French windows, into the back garden, and there’s Wimbledon’s Centre Court. We can’t be much more than a couple of dives away from where, 25 years ago this summer, Boris won Wimbledon at 17.

Spend a morning at Becker’s home, and there’s no avoiding his admiration for all things British, for all things Wimbledon; it would not be surprising if he confessed to sleeping with fresh grass clippings under his pillow, or that he was considering having purple-and-green striped wallpaper in every room.

Though Becker has his residence and office in Zug, Switzerland, Wimbledon is his favourite home; this is as close as he can get to the Centre Court turf without laying his head beneath the umpire’s chair. “Living so close by, I’m reminded every day of my history here, and I like that,” said Becker, who has rented the house for just over a year; making him Baron Boris of Wimbledon.

“Right now, I feel as popular in Britain as I do in Germany, and that certainly wasn’t the case when I won Wimbledon at 17. I was German, I looked German, I had a German passport, and there was a bit of history between the two countries, but the British public realised soon enough that I wasn’t what you would think of as a typical German. I do have a sense of humour, and I like England, I like Britain. I like Wimbledon,” Becker said. “I admire and respect the history here, and 25 years after my first victory I spend a lot of time in Wimbledon, which is quite a circle when you think about it.”

Becker could live anywhere, but it is in the SW19 postcode — and so close to the lawns that for the next fortnight he will be able to hear the soft popping of tennis balls being struck — that he feels most at ease. When he strolls around Wimbledon Village, the locals just let him be. Which, as Boris would put it, ‘is quite a circle’, given that his victory here in 1985 meant that it has often felt as though his life had been played out like Sushi’s, in a bowl.

“The residents in Wimbledon are very respectful. I think they may be even a little proud that I’ve made the decision to spend a lot of time here, to be part of the Village and the community. They don’t bother me at all when I go to the supermarket or to the butcher or the local bank. I hardly ever sign autographs when I’m in Wimbledon. I have a different relationship with the people in Wimbledon now that I live here rather than just coming to visit. This is home, right here in Wimbledon.”

Becker, 42, was drawn back to south-west London. “I had a flat on the King’s Road for a long time, as I always liked to come to London, to spend the weekend here and see friends. My wife was living in Chelsea before and the move to Wimbledon wasn’t such a big change for her after all.

“She never went to Wimbledon Centre Court before she met me so I was quite proud to show her for the first time,” said Becker, who married Lilly, his second wife, in St Moritz last summer. Their first child, Amadeus, was born in February. Becker has two more sons, Noah and Elias, from his first marriage, and a daughter, Anna, from a brief relationship.

If Becker wants to play tennis, he uses the All England Club’s indoor courts. Where else? “That’s my practice place when I’m here,” he said. “As a member of the club, I could also go there for cups of tea and sandwiches every afternoon, but I don’t tend to do that. Why would I when my house is just two minutes away?”

It is difficult to believe that it is now a quarter of a century since a strawberry-blond kid from West Germany, someone who used to go to his coach for pocket-money if he wanted a bottle of Coke, hijacked men’s tennis and became Wimbledon’s youngest champion. “In many ways, I remember it like it was yesterday. But then when I go back on the tennis court, it does feel like 25 years ago. The actual tennis player, the one who is 17 years old, I haven’t seen that guy for a long time,” Becker said.

“What I remember most from winning Wimbledon at 17 was that people suddenly looked at me differently – they thought I was from planet Mars. They thought that I had done something I wasn’t supposed to do, something that shouldn’t have been possible. But I did it. And then I did it at 18, just to make the point.”

A Wimbledon champion at 17, Becker would have to do his growing up in public, which he has said was a bit like “sitting on the lavatory while the whole world is watching”. He became Germany’s “national toy”, a plaything for people on both sides of the Berlin Wall, and for the rest of the world.

“Thanks to TV, people all across the world saw these very personal moments in my life, and because they participated by watching it, they thought that they were part of it,” he recalled. “The whole of Germany went absolutely crazy and adopted me as their son.

“On one side it was great and wonderful and I respect that a lot. On the other side it was a big burden because I happened not to be their son — they adopted me as their favourite son.

“Germany doesn’t own me, and they have no rights over me, and that’s something that even today, even though I don’t fight it, makes my life a bit more complicated when I’m home in Germany.”

If Becker had won his first Wimbledon title at 21 or 22, his life would have played out differently. “Oh yes, very different, it wouldn’t have been as chaotic, it wouldn’t have been as crazy,” Becker said. “It’s the power of the media. I benefit greatly from it today. I’ve had wonderful sponsors, but on the other side, it puts a lot of pressure on you and it can even haunt you. They put you on a pedestal and they give you an image that it would be impossible to live up to.

“If you win the greatest tournament of all at 17, when you lose for the first time, it’s the biggest loss, like the whole country is questioning you, ‘Why did you lose this match?’ They don’t reason any more. It’s just pure emotion. And so life becomes very difficult for the young player, as he has to try to explain something that’s impossible to explain. People lose perspective when you are successful at such a young age. Eventually, you have to fail.”

In 1987, when Becker lost early at Wimbledon, he gave the most sensible quote anyone has ever given after a defeat: “No one died out there, I just lost a tennis match.” His third Wimbledon title came in 1989 and his last final was in 1995.

What advice would he give to his 17-year-old self in the moments after he walked off Centre Court with that Wimbledon trophy? “If I could tell him one thing,” Becker said, “I would tell him to be careful.”

Re: Boris Becker

Boris „Bum, bum” Becker

W dzieciñstwie obok tenisa uprawia³ równie¿ pi³kê no¿n±. Ostatecznie zwyciê¿y³a mi³o¶æ do „bia³ego sportu”. Ju¿ pierwszy trener Niemca S³oweniec Boris Breskvar by³ przekonany o niezwyk³ym talencie swego podopiecznego i wró¿y³ mu ¶wietlan± przysz³o¶æ.

Pierwszy niemiecki triumfator Wimbledonu

W „doros³ym” tenisie zadebiutowa³ w 1983 r., ale swój udzia³ w turnieju w Kolonii zakoñczy³ ju¿ w I rundzie, przegrywaj±c z Amerykaninem Sandym Mayerem. Pod koniec sezonu zajmowa³ w rankingu ATP 563. miejsce. Rok pó¼niej 17-latek dotar³ do æwieræfina³u Australian Open.

Australijczyków Casha i McNamee. W finale zwyciê¿y³ Amerykanina Kevina Currena 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. Zosta³ pierwszym w historii nierozstawionym tenisist±, któremu uda³a siê ta sztuka!

Rok pó¼niej obroni³ tytu³ pokonuj±c – po raz drugi w karierze – w trzech setach Ivana Lendla. Sezon 1986 by³ niezwykle udany dla Beckera. Wygrywa³ równie¿ zawody w Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Tokio i Pary¿u. Tymczasem pochodz±cy z Ostrawy Lendl zrewan¿owa³ siê Niemcowi w finale Masters, zwyciê¿aj±c 3-0.

S³yn±cy z potê¿nego serwisu, któremu zawdziêcza³ przydomek „Bum, bum” Niemiec by³ jednak prawdziwym w³adc± Queens Clubu. Triumfowa³ tam w latach 1987 i 1988. Ten ostatni sezon zakoñczy³ triumfem w presti¿owym turnieju Masters, gdzie w finale w piêciosetowym boju pokona³ Lendla. Forma Niemca ros³a. W 1989 r. do kolejnego zwyciêstwa na trawiastych kortach Wimbledonu doda³ równie¿ wygran± w US Open. W pokonanym polu pozostawi³ m.in. Noah i Lendla. Ten ostatni zrewan¿owa³ siê mu w nastêpnym sezonie, odbieraj±c Beckerowi tytu³ mistrza Queens Clubu. W fantastycznym finale Wimbledonu Niemiec uleg³ Szwedowi Edbergowi 2-3.

Odwieczny rywal Edberg

Rywalizacja obu tenisistów zdominowa³a prze³om lat 80. i 90. XX w. Stefan Edberg by³ dla Borisa Beckera tym, kim Andre Agassi dla Pete’a Samprasa. Ogó³em rozegrali 32 spotkania. Nasz bohater triumfowa³ w 22. Do historii dyscypliny przejdzie przede wszystkim wspomniany ju¿ pojedynek z Wimbledonu z 1990 r. Zwyciê¿y³ w kolejnych dwóch partiach 6-3, 6-3 i o tytule decydowa³ pi±ty set. Lepszy o jedno prze³amanie okaza³ siê Edberg i to on po raz drugi w karierze triumfowa³ w najbardziej presti¿owym turnieju tenisowym ¶wiata.

Z³oty medal w Barcelonie

W 1991 roku Becker siêgn±³ po trzeci± lewê Wielkiego Szlema. W finale Australian Open w czterech setach pokona³ Lendla.
W finale Wimbledonu lepszy okaza³ siê m³odszy rodak Beckera Michael Stich, wygrywaj±c 6-4, 7-6, 6-4. Na os³odê musia³ pozostaæ triumf w rozgrywanym we Frankfurcie turnieju Masters, gdzie zrewan¿owa³ siê Stichowi. Wynik ten powtórzy³ rok pó¼niej, kiedy w finale nie da³ szans Amerykaninowi Jimowi Courierowi pokonuj±c rudzielca z Florydy 6-4, 6-3, 7-5. To by³ obok z³otego medalu w deblu (w parze ze Stichem) podczas igrzysk olimpijskich w Barcelonie najwiêkszy sukces Beckera w 1992 r.

Zmiana warty, czas Samprasa

W 1993 r. w pó³finale Wimbledonu Becker przegra³ z Samprasem. O dziwo, w
Sampras pokona³ naszego bohatera 6-7, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2. Niemiec natomiast musia³ siê zadowoliæ listopadowym zwyciêstwem nad innym Amerykaninem Changiem we frankfurckim turnieju Masters. Wyczyn ten powtórzy³ dwa miesi±ce pó¼niej w Melbourne, triumfuj±c w ostatnim wielkoszlemowym turnieju w karierze.
Odzyska³ równie¿ w³adzê nad Queens Clubem, gdzie w pokonanym polu pozostawi³ m.in. Raftera, Ferreirê i Edberga. Na jesieni stoczy³ dwa przepiêkne piêciosetowe boje z Samprasem. W Stuttgarcie lepszy okaza³ siê Niemiec, natomiast w Hannowerze triumfowa³ Amerykanin.

Po¿egnanie z kortem

Trzydziestolatek powoli ustêpowa³ miejsca na korcie m³odszym. W ostatnim sezonie w karierze, w 1999 r. Becker gra³ w finale turnieju w Hong Kongu (pora¿ka z Agassim). Swoj± przygodê z zawodowym tenisem zakoñczy³ tam, gdzie ¶wiêtowa³ najwiêksze sukcesy – w Londynie. W III rundzie Wimbledonu g³adko uleg³ Patowi Rafterowi.

¯ycie prywatne...

…Beckera zdecydowanie odbiega³o od sportowych sukcesów Niemca. W 2001 roku rozwiód³ siê z aktork± Barbar± Feltus, z któr± ma dwóch synów 14-letniego Noah Gabriela i 9-letniego Eliasa. Becker ma równie¿ córkê Annê z nieformalnego zwi±zku z Angel± Ermakov±. Przed miesi±cem po 83 dniach znajomo¶ci rozsta³ siê z Axel Meyer-Woelden, córk± swego wieloletniego mened¿era.

Re: Boris Becker

'I've had a facelift!' Tennis legend Boris Becker's shock confession on how he maintains his fresh-faced look

Tennis legend Boris Becker has stunned fans by admitting to having had a facelift at the age of 43.

The former Wimbledon champion made the revelation as he was interviewed by Daybreak's sports presenter Dan Lobb on the show yesterday morning.

Becker said he had decided to go under the surgeon's knife in an attempt to maintain his fresh-faced look.

Asked by Lobb how he managed to look so good for his age, Becker, who was being interviewed in London's O2 Arena, replied: 'It's a dark arena here so you don't see my wrinkles. I also had a facelift recently and I coloured my hair, so...

'I turned 43 this week, and winning Wimbledon was 25 years ago, and I do feel very much like I'm 43 right now.'

The tennis champion was interviewed by Lobb as he searched for the best ball girls and boys for next year's Wimbledon championship at the O2's ATP World Tour finals.

Becker has been enjoying life with wife Lilly Kerssenberg since she gave birth to the German sportsman's son Amadeus in February.

He is also father to sons Noah, 16 and ten-year-old Elias from his marriage to ex-wife Barbara Feltus, as well as a ten-year-old daughter Anna, from an infamous brief encounter with a model at a London restaurant.

Lilly, who married Boris in Switzerland last year, has said she is looking forward to having more children with the German sportsman.

In a recent interview, she said she hoped to have a total of three children, but wanted to wait a bit before getting pregnant again

She said: 'Maybe next year... This year I want to enjoy Amadeus and reclaim my figure.'

And Boris is also keen to add to his brood.

'My wife is quite young and this is her first, so I’m sure she wants to have more,' he said in a recent interview. 'Obviously I’ll be happy to oblige.'

But while he has been concentrating on his personal life in recent months, Boris is also keen to continue his professional commitments in the tennis industry.

And there's a chance he could be signed up to coach British hopeful Andy Murray ahead of Wimbledon next year.

Murray, who is looking for a new coach, said in an interview recently: 'There are a lot of guys out there, and he’s one of the best who ever played.

'He’s someone I would not write off. There are a lot of past players who could definitely help.'
